Amanda Gresham
has over a decade of experience as a professional photographer. She
earned her degree at American University in Washington, D.C. in her
self -created major of marketing, graphic design and multimedia.
After graduating Gresham moved to New
York where she worked as an on set photographer for HBO
documentaries.
Today Gresham calls New Orleans home. She is the founder of the
Delta Music Experience which she continues to produce cruises.
Gresham was also the proprietor of the Royal Blues Art Gallery which
she had to close after Hurricane Katrina.
In 2004 Gresham was hired by Warner Records to document the filming
and recording for 10 Days Out: Blues From The Backroads which
was just released in January 2007. Gresham's photos are used
throughout the CD booklet and on the 10 Days Out and
Kenny Wayne Shepherd websites.

10 Days Out Photography Featured at KBA Ceremony
While many people listen to the Blues, Amanda Gresham sees the music. Her documentary photography, which is featured in Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s 10 Days Out: Blues From The Backroads CD and DVD, will be on display during The Blues Foundation’s Keeping the Blues Alive Awards in Memphis on February 2 at the Downtown Doubletree Hotel. 10 Days Out will receive a Keeping the Blues Alive award in the Film, Television or Video category and has received Grammy nominations for Best Blues Traditional Album and the documentary was nominated for Best Long Form Video.
Gresham’s exhibit in the KBA award reception area will include works from the 10 Days Out project. She will donate the proceeds from any photographs sold to the Music Maker Relief Foundation and to The Blues Foundation. Warner Brothers hired Gresham in 2004 to document the filming and recording for 10 Days Out, which was released in January 2007. Her photography is featured throughout the CD booklet, in the PBS documentary, on the 10 Days Out DVD, as well as on the Kenny Wayne Shepherd website.
